Job summary

AmeriCorps VISTA in Hawaii seeks a Kalihi Valley Instructional Bike Exchange Youth Worker VISTA to strengthen KVIBE’s capacity by developing educational, outreach, and data-management resources related to health, culture, and the land.

You will update bike mechanics and safety curriculum, create promotional templates for KVIBE activities, and implement a new data reporting system for grants. The position is full-time with a start/end date and a living allowance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in public health or youth development is a plus.
• Ability to work with diverse communities in Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Update and revise educational curriculum covering bike mechanics, safety, and health.
• Develop promotional templates for KVIBE activities and events.
• Create a reporting system for participant and volunteer data for grants.
