Job summary
AmeriCorps VISTA program in Hawaii seeks a full-time Community Navigator VISTA to strengthen Pacific Voices’ capacity by building volunteer systems, databases, and partnerships. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in youth programs or community outreach preferred.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen organizational capacity by developing volunteer, resource-navigation, data, and partnership systems.
- Recruit volunteers and develop volunteer tracking tools, orientation resources, training materials, retention strategies, and procedures.
- Create a shared volunteer database with quantitative and qualitative data for grant funding.
- Develop guides to help participants with financial assistance, access to care, food access, and education services, plus a partnership database and referral framework.
