The mission Performance Initiatives organization is to educate and mentor youth and adults mentally, physically and spiritually by using athletics and fitness, with Olympic‑style weight lifting as the base. Positive character traits are nurtured in participants in the youth programs, aiming for those who have possibly never have seen hope or encouragement in their life. The VISTA will prevent summer learning loss for the youth in the summer program. This is especially important due to the Covid pandemic because of additional barriers faced by virtual learning.

Member Duties

The Enrichment Program VISTA will build sustainable systems that strengthen educational programming, expand community partnerships, and improve data tracking, volunteer engagement, and outreach efforts. The VISTA will develop infrastructure that supports math enrichment, youth development, and organizational growth, ensuring long‑term impact beyond the service year.
