Job summary

The California Community Foundation (CCF) seeks a Program Associate in Youth Development/Education to support grant processes, research, and stakeholder communications in Los Angeles. Reporting to the Youth Development Program Officer, the role is project-based with a one-year minimum term and potential extension.

You will work with grants, budgets, data, and partner organizations to advance CCF's education initiatives, requiring nonprofit experience, strong writing and coordination skills, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of work or volunteer experience with a nonprofit.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database software; familiarity with Blackbaud preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; willingness to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Background check clearance required due to funding source.

Responsibilities

• Assist with grant intake, review, and processing and monitor progress reports.
• Provide research support and analysis of trends related to program areas.
• Coordinate outreach and communications with stakeholders and partners.
• Support grant monitoring, budgets, and data libraries.
• Coordinate project timelines and meetings, including events logistics.
• Collaborate with project and education teams to ensure effective operations.
