Job summary

YMCA of Greater Hartford is seeking a Youth Program Associate to lead and supervise youth activities at the Wilson-Gray YMCA Youth & Family Center in Hartford, CT. This part-time position supports developmental programs, maintains safety, communicates with families, and collaborates with the Youth Development Director to deliver engaging, high-quality experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience implementing a variety of youth and adult programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve using available resources.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training and implement age-appropriate developmental curriculum.
• Supervise youth participants and maintain a safe, engaging environment.
• Communicate with parents and families about youth progress and events.
• Assist in coordinating programs across YMCA Youth Development initiatives.
