Job summary

The YMCA of Delaware is seeking a Youth Development Director for CAMP- Western YMCA Family Location in Newark. You will lead youth development programs, ensure licensing compliance, and oversee curriculum, staffing, and partnerships to support children and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in an early childhood or youth development setting.
• Strong knowledge of Delaware OCCL regulations, Delaware Stars, and NAEYC Accreditation standards.
• Strong leadership, coaching and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and coordinate all early childhood education programs for assigned sites.
• Implement curriculum and assessments; review and approve lesson plans.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching and mentoring to staff.
• Ensure ADA requirements, inclusivity, and best practices in the early education setting.
