Job summary

Community Care Alliance in Woonsocket, RI, is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to engage youth 12-25 in workforce development, education, digital literacy, and life skills. You will facilitate Northstar Digital Literacy classes and youth-centered workshops in a supportive, trauma-informed setting.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help youth overcome barriers, connect them to employers and educational resources, and provide intake, goal planning, and ongoing engagement to

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associates degree with relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in education, human services, or a related field preferred.
• Must have demonstrated experience working with youth and/or young adults, facilitating educational or life skills programming, and supporting youth development.
• Experience with workforce development, digital literacy, community outreach, or workshop facilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Youth Development & Program Facilitation: Engage and support youth through educational, workforce development, and life skills programming; facilitate Northstar Digital Literacy classes.
• Employment & Community Engagement: Develop relationships with employers and community resources; assist youth with job searches, resumes, and interview prep.
• Case Management & Program Support: Provide intake, goal planning, follow-up, documentation, and coordinate with case managers to support youth success.
