Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning and stronger mentorship. As a Youth Development Specialist, you will lead energetic life-skills workshops for K-8 students, using Coachbot analytics and personalized coaching to help each student reach ambitious weekly goals.

This full-time, in-person role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years working with youth. You will work on-site at multiple Alpha campuses in the US, with day-one benefits and relocation support for the right

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience working directly with K-8 students in youth development, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, camp leadership, or youth programs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy, one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 students, developing communication, resilience, focus, leadership, and other durable skills.
• Coach students individually and in small groups using Coachbot analytics to help achieve weekly goals.
• Assess life-skills mastery and provide targeted coaching until genuine competence is shown.
• Adapt coaching style across different age groups and contexts.
• Analyze weekly performance data to identify patterns and improve outcomes for the cohort.
