Job summary

Alpha seeks a Youth Development Specialist to lead energetic life-skills workshops for K-8 students, coaching them toward ambitious weekly goals. You will use Coachbot analytics to tailor guidance and drive real progress in a dynamic, AI-enabled learning environment.

Based on a campus in Santa Barbara, CA, this full-time W2 role offers day-one benefits and relocation support, with weekly pay and a mission to empower students beyond traditional instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working directly with K-8 students in youth development, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, camp leadership, or youth programs.
• Ability to motivate students and translate feedback into tangible growth actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy, one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students, focusing on communication, resilience, focus, and leadership.
• Coach students individually and in small groups using Coachbot analytics and motivation systems.
• Assess life skill mastery and provide targeted coaching until students demonstrate genuine competence.
• Adapt coaching style across age groups to meet developmental needs of younger and older students.
• Analyze weekly performance data to identify patterns, remove obstacles, and improve outcomes for the cohort.
