Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Specialist to lead one-hour life-skills sessions for K-8 students on public speaking, focus, and feedback. You will also run daily 1:1 motivation sessions using Coachbot analytics and Alpha incentives.

The role is full-time, on-site at an Alpha campus (Miami, FL or other listed locations). A bachelor’s degree is required and you must have at least 3 years working with K-8 students. Relocation support is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students in roles such as classroom teaching, tutoring, athletic coaching, camp leadership, or youth program work.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking, focus, and feedback.
• Conduct daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions using Coachbot analytics and Alpha incentives.
• Administer the Test2Pass mastery assessment and re-coach students who need it.
• Adapt workshop playbooks and create new sessions for different ages.
• Be an approachable adult who maintains high standards and supports students' growth.
