Alpha hires youth counselors to run life-skills workshops for K-8 students on public speaking, focus, and feedback. You will coach students daily in 1:1 or small groups, using Coachbot analytics and Alpha incentives to push toward 100% weekly goals.

The role is full-time and on-site at Alpha campuses, with relocation support and a competitive six-figure pay range. Must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years working with K-8 students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students (classroom teaching, tutoring, athletic coaching, camp leadership, or youth program work).
• Comfortable letting adaptive learning software deliver instruction while you coach motivation and life-skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking, focus, and feedback.
• Run daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions using Coachbot analytics and Alpha's incentive systems (school currency, leaderboards).
• Administer the Test2Pass mastery assessment for each life skill, then re-coach any student who does not pass until they do.
• Adapt the workshop playbook and build new sessions to land with a kindergartener or an 8th grader.
• Be the adult who holds the standard and the trusted mentor students choose to talk to.
