Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of Maury County in Tennessee is seeking part-time youth program staff to deliver hands-on activities for K-12 students. You will implement programs aligned with three priorities: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Citizenship.

You will prepare supplies, guide activities, and help youth develop skills in a fun, safe environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong communication with youth and parents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Some experience working with children is required; prior Boys & Girls Club or similar work preferred.
• Must relate to youth and manage a classroom while keeping activities FUN.
• Teamwork, patience and creativity are essential.
• Reliability and punctuality are required; dependability is expected.

Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on programs with youth focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character.
• Prepare youth for success by following lesson plans and organizing materials.
• Facilitate activities, supervise groups, ensure safety and proper conduct.
• Build positive relationships with youth and mentor them to believe in themselves.
• Maintain clean, safe, well-ventilated program spaces and complete attendance records.
• Assist with additional club activities and events as needed; may transport or assist with parent communication.
