Job summary

Coach Across America is seeking AmeriCorps coaches for a year of service in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. Coaches will lead practices, support students with academics, and develop curriculum-based activities while upholding the organization's mission and values.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a passion for youth development, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work flexible hours including weekends as needed. Health insurance is offered for full-time slots.

Qualifications

• Team player with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and run practices (sport varies by host site).
• Assist with setup, break-down, and coaching assignments on game days.
• Create curriculum-based activities for assigned grades.
• Maintain safety, attend trainings, and arrive on time.
