Naval District Washington (NDW) seeks a CYP Assistant in Bethesda to engage children and youth with planned activities, fostering social skills and safe learning environments.

You will help with meals/snacks, monitor safety, and communicate with parents while adhering to DoD and NAF guidelines. The position requires background checks, drug testing, and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Background checks including fingerprinting and DoD/NAF checks required.
• U.S. citizen or 3 years lawful residency.
• Pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Employment contingent on education proof.

Responsabilités

• Develop schedules and activity plans for CYP program.
• Implement activities meeting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs.
• Care for children and youth with special needs as directed.
• Supervise and ensure safety and participant whereabouts.
• Provide daily feedback to parents and collaborate with staff on DoD certification.
