Daymark Recovery Services in Asheville seeks a Mentor at the Caiyalynn Burrell Child Crisis Center to support children in crisis and contribute to a caring treatment environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (associates preferred) and at least 1 year of pediatric behavioral health experience, with IDD experience preferred. Partial or full-time opportunities on various shifts are available.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience providing behavioral health or crisis services to children.
• IDD (intellectual and developmental disability) experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide ongoing one-on-one support and mentoring to children recovering from crisis.
• Facilitate daily check-in and skill-building groups under clinical supervision.
• Lead daily recreational activities and meal times.
• Complete routine documentation for services provided and child observations.
• Assist medical, nursing and clinical staff as needed.
