Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Youth Counselor for our Marion QRTP program. You will mentor adolescent boys 12–17, helping them develop emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving skills in a structured residential setting in Marion, Iowa.

Ideal candidates are at least 21 with a high school diploma or GED, and a Bachelor’s in a Human Services field is preferred. You will set boundaries, stay consistent, and model accountable, positive behavior for lasting impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in human services or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with adolescents or in mental health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support adolescent boys aged 12–17 in QRTP.
• Help youth develop emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Build healthy relationships and guide goal-oriented progress.
• Stay calm under pressure and enforce healthy boundaries.
• Follow through consistently and show up ready to support the next day.
