Service Alternatives, Inc. is seeking a part-time Youth Community Coordinator to work on service goals with at-risk or displaced youth up to 17 years old.

The role acts as a liaison between foster parents, staff, and the community team, coordinating schedules and providing crisis support in various settings including office and community locations around Vancouver, WA. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of direct work with youth or social

Job Summary:

We are looking for a part time Youth Community Coordinator to work on service goals with and for at risk or displaced youth up to 17 years old.What you'll be doing:This role is a liaison between foster parents, staff, and the community team, providing a safe environment with working on implementing behavioral and permanency goals. The candidate will coordinate schedules, lead and train other staff, provide crisis support, coordinate schedules and other administrative staff working both collaboratively and independently. Work is conducted in the office in Vancouver, WA and up to 75 miles away in community and home settings when supporting staff; work directly with youth may be provided.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent2 years experience working directly with youth (OR 2 years of social services education.)Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check

Licensing and Certifications:

Currentlyhave or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid license (paid by SA)Current driver license, car, and car insuranceTB Test: Within 7 days of first day of employment, or prior to working on site (whichever comes first) (Paid by SA)
