Job summary

Service Alternatives, Inc. is seeking a part-time Youth Direct Support Professional Coordinator for in-home program 69. The role coordinates schedules, trains staff, and provides crisis support to foster youth up to 17 years old in Vancouver, WA and surrounding areas.

You will liaise with foster parents, staff, and the community team to implement behavioral and permanency goals while ensuring a safe environment for youth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of experience working directly with youth or 2 years of social services education.
• Must have a clear criminal history and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between foster parents, staff, and the community team to support youth goals.
• Coordinate schedules, lead and train other staff, and provide crisis support.
• Work in office in Vancouver, WA and travel up to 75 miles to support staff and youth.
• Engage youth in home and community settings and implement behavioral and permanency goals.

Are you ready to take the next step in your career of helping foster youth? We are looking for a part-time Youth Community Coordinator to work on service goals with and for at risk or displaced youth up to 17 years old.

What you'll be doing:

This role is a liaison between foster parents, staff, and the community team, providing a safe environment with working on implementing behavioral and permanency goals. The candidate will coordinate schedules, lead and train other staff, provide crisis support, coordinate schedules and other administrative staff working both collaboratively and independently. Work is conducted in the office in Vancouver, WA and up to 75 miles away in community and home settings when supporting staff; work directly with youth may be provided.

Wage: $21 per hour
Program:69
Locations: Lacey
Shifts: Weekdays and Weekends vary depending on needs of youth.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years experience working directly with youth (OR 2 years of social services education.)
• Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check

Licensing and Certifications:

• Currentlyhave or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid license (paid by SA)
• Current driver license, car, and car insurance
• TB Test: Within 7 days of first day of employment, or prior to working on site (whichever comes first) (Paid by SA)
