Job summary

Wisco Project is Wisconsin’s leading youth vote organization seeking a Social Media Assistant to create authentic, peer-driven content for non-college 18–30-year-olds. This is a contracted role with a monthly stipend of $1200 and approximately 15–20 hours per week.

You’ll work closely with the Digital Engagement Managers and Youth Communities Organizer to produce event recaps, day-in-the-life clips, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes moments that feel genuine rather than corporate.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role focusing on social media content for youth audiences.
• Experience with filming, editing, or managing social accounts preferred.
• Ability to turn around content quickly, including during live events.

Responsibilities

• Film and edit short-form content (recaps, clips, testimonials).
• Attend events to capture authentic, on-site content.
• Edit content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with peers to source genuine testimonials.
• Coordinate with the Digital Engagement Manager to align messaging.
• Monitor engagement metrics to guide future content decisions.
• Stay updated on platform trends for youth audiences.
