Wisco Project is Wisconsin’s leading youth vote organization seeking a Social Media Assistant to create authentic, peer-driven content for non-college 18–30-year-olds. This is a contracted role with a monthly stipend of $1200 and approximately 15–20 hours per week.
You’ll work closely with the Digital Engagement Managers and Youth Communities Organizer to produce event recaps, day-in-the-life clips, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes moments that feel genuine rather than corporate.

The Organization:
The Wisco Project is Wisconsin’s largest, scrappiest progressive youth vote organization. We run large-scale organizing and digital programming to reach and mobilize young people across the state. In 2026, we will work to expand our youth coalitions, strengthen youth political power, and score progressive victories for young people across the state. This will be a crucial year for Wisconsin and we are in need of talented, dedicated staff ready to take on this challenge with us!
The Role
The Youth Communities Social Media Assistant is a contracted role that works closely with the Digital Engagement Managers and Youth Communities Organizer and creates authentic, peer-driven digital content designed to reach non-college 18–30 year olds. The assistant produces content: event recaps, day-in-the-life clips, peer testimonials, and behind-the-scenes moments that feels genuine and relatable to the target demographic, not overly polished or corporate. This role is a contracted position with a monthly stipend of $1200 and an expectation an average of 15-20 hours/week.
