The Video Producer will script, produce, and edit content for YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, X, and Instagram Reels, as well as rapid response video, with travel to events as needed and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and other leading video editing software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Access to a dedicated computer for editing.
• Experience in digital campaigns for political campaigns, organizations, or nonprofits is a plus.
• Detail oriented with ability to work in fast-paced environments and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Identify and conceptualize ideas for video content that reinforces the campaign’s core messaging.
• Script, produce, and edit video content for long and short formats across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, X, and Instagram Reels; rapid response video.
• Help produce video and graphic assets for other departments as needed.
• Traveling and staffing events as needed.
• Regularly analyze social media metrics and report on performance, guiding improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description: Crowley for Wisconsin is seeking a Video Producer to join our growing digital department working to elect Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley for Governor. This role will have a specific focus on developing video concepts, producing, and editing footage to reinforce key campaign messaging priorities. Ideal candidates for this role will bring a strong creative perspective with a demonstrated ability to tell compelling stories.

The Video Producer’s duties will include:

• Identify and conceptualize ideas for video content that reinforces the campaign’s core messaging
• Script, produce, and edit video content, including long format videos for Youtube and Facebook, short format videos for TikTok, X, and Instagram Reels, as well as rapid response video.
• Help produce video and graphic assets for other departments as needed.
• Traveling and staffing events as needed
• Regularly analyze social media metrics, reporting on what’s working and making strategic recommendations on where to improve.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates will have:

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and other leading video editing software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

• Experience working on a digital program for a political campaign, organization, or non-profit a plus
• Detail oriented and comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment with irregular hours (nights and weekends).
