Job summary

KidStrong Summerville is seeking a talented Children’s Coach to engage with kids ages 12 months to 11 years and their parents, delivering the KidStrong curriculum and creating a safe, energetic learning environment.

You will guide activities, maintain equipment, and communicate with parents while attending staff trainings. We offer a flexible schedule with opportunities for part-time or full-time hours and compensation of $21.00 - $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable.
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred.
• Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified.
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter who just gets a job done.

Responsibilities

• Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups range from roughly 12 months old to 11 years old.
• Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team.
• Ensure classes start and end on schedule and follow the pace of curriculum.
• Greet students and parents/guardians at the start of class.
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor.
• Demonstrate and manage exercise implementations.
• Ensure cleanliness of the center and equipment after shifts.
• Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data for parents.
