Job summary

The Boys Club of New York BCNY is seeking an Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth clubhouse operations during program hours. You will supervise an Operations Assistant team, coordinate schedules, manage coverage, and assist with visitor relations, tours, and member engagement.

Qualifications

• Post secondary training or college credits.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Experience with schedule coordination, events planning, facilities management, and/or youth development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team of Operations Assistants.
• Manage work schedules and assignments of team.
• Identify areas of need within clubhouse to distribute workforce for coverage.
• Monitor and positively interact with members to ensure safety and engagement.
• Record hourly ratio counts, ensure members scan into areas and maintain evaluation information.
• Provide engaging clubhouse tours to visitors, potential members, and parents.
• Monitor program areas including entry/exit, locker rooms, and coat check.
• Ensure proper care of materials and organize game room; report misuse or damage.
• Assist in training, supervising, directing, and evaluating seasonal staff, volunteers, and members.
• Submit timesheets as requested.
