Zusammenfassung

Kenaitze Indian Tribe's Yinihugheltani Project is a five-year SAMHSA Native Connections grant initiative aimed at reducing suicidal behavior and substance use among Native youth. The Project Coordinator leads the Youth Club as mentor, supervisor, and coach, coordinating with the Youth Outreach and Support Specialist to meet club objectives.

This temporary exempt role reports to the Behavioral Health Manager, with responsibilities in planning, data analysis, reporting, and cross-system outreach

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree, or a combination of education and experience in a related field may be substituted for a degree
• Three (3) years' experience in program development, working within grant requirements in the fields of behavioral health, wellness, and/or public health
• Knowledge and experience working with cultural diversities
• Must have a valid Alaska State driver's license and must remain insurable under the Tribe's policy

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day activities for the Dena'ina Yinihugheltani Project
• Sole responsibility for grant reporting and project evaluation requirements with data analysis
• Develop, implement and facilitate grant programmatic efforts including meetings and public events
• Plan and conduct regional and local community outreach across multiple systems
• Complete annual trainings as required
