Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis is seeking a Club Director for the Central Office in Memphis, TN. This full-time leadership role directs daily operations, oversees staff and facilities, and drives youth-centered program delivery.

You will develop programs, manage budgets, build partnerships, and ensure safe environments while reporting on attendance and outcomes. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in related field from an accredited college or university.
• Two years' experience in Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities for youth.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good driving record.
• Group leadership skills and understanding of group dynamics.
• Experience in personnel supervision, facilities management and recruitment/retention.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages daily operations of the designated Clubhouse with focus on programs and service delivery.
• Supervise and train staff, manage facilities and equipment, and ensure safety standards.
• Plan and evaluate programs to meet objectives and member needs; compile activity reports.
• Manage unit financial resources and assist in annual budgeting; monitor expenditures against budget.
• Develop partnerships with parents, community leaders, and outside organizations; maintain public relations.
• Recruit, develop, and evaluate staff and volunteers; hold regular staff meetings.
• Ensure programs meet gender and cultural diversity needs and assess ongoing outcomes.
• Coordinate unit advisory board relations to promote program needs.
