Job summary

UNR Extension in Las Vegas seeks a Program Coordinator for the 4-H Positive Youth Development program. The role focuses on coordinating youth activities, managing program operations, and fostering strong partnerships with schools, families, and community organizations.

You will analyze data, support budget monitoring, and lead recruitment, orientations, and events, while integrating curriculum across leadership, community action, and expressive arts to enhance youth outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events and manage program operations for youth ages 5-18.
• Provide administrative oversight and support, including documentation and database maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and serve as primary contact for program inquiries.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, participants and leadership and build partnerships with internal and external partners.
• Develop and implement educational and recreational strategies to promote program visibility.
• Manage recruitment efforts and coordinate orientations, meetings and special events.
• Collect, analyze and report on program data; track outcomes and make improvement recommendations.
• Undertake special projects, assist with budget monitoring and provide general program support.
