Job summary

Westcare Ohio Inc. seeks a Youth Champion Program Manager to mentor youth aged 12–19 and guide their academic and social-emotional development using individualized success plans.

You will deliver high-quality afterschool programming for 75 youth, coordinate with partner agencies, and maintain open communication with families while ensuring grant deliverables are met. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in education or human services, demonstrated leadership in youth development, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or human services required.
• Demonstrable leadership, management and administrative experience in youth development work required.
• Youth coaching experience required, preferably in an urban environment.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have own transportation.
• Available weekdays 3-7 pm during school year.

Responsibilities

• Mentor the youth and monitor their academic and social/emotional development using the individualized student success plan.
• Provide high quality programming for 75 youth, ages 12-19, each year.
• Maintain daily Youth Center hours with programming between 3 and 7 PM.
• Maintain regular communications with youth families and ensure grant deliverables are met.
• Create and maintain student files and assist in grant applications and reports.
• Recruit and retain new students for remote case management or attendance in activities.
