Job summary

Oklahoma Military Department seeks a Residential Advisor-5 to monitor and supervise 35 to 45 youth in the Sooner Job Challenge Program. Patience, leadership, and the ability to drive or ride long distances are essential. CDL may be required; a valid driver’s license is needed for transportation duties.

Qualifications

• Military background is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise 35 to 45 youth (ages 17 to 21) in the Oklahoma Job ChalleNGe Program (Sooner Job Challenge Program).
• Maintain accountability of the platoon at all times.
• Maintain discipline, security, and safety within a quasi-military atmosphere.
• Develop a team-oriented attitude in the Associates.
• Mentor/role model during residential phase.
• Conduct first line counseling and problem solving for Associates.
