Job summary

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is seeking an Youth Employment Specialist to support adjudicated and at-risk youth by providing career exploration and job readiness training aligned with program goals. The role includes delivering services on-site and in the community to help participants identify goals, develop skills, and access employment opportunities that improve long-term outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience, or an associate degree with 2 years of experience.
• Experience working with youth and at-risk populations.
• Must provide current clearances prior to first day of employment (Child Abuse, FBI, PATCH).

Responsibilities

• Complete enrollment paperwork and provide job readiness assessments.
• Develop employment plans and assist participants in obtaining employment.
• Build new partnerships by analyzing local job markets and communicating with funders and employers.
• Deliver job-specific training, support, and supervision to youth while maintaining a safe environment.
• Assist individuals in applying for and obtaining related services to meet stated goals.
