Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) at the Edison Job Corps Center in Edison, NJ, is seeking a full-time career technical training instructor with an active RN license to teach students using approved curricula.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/or instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.
• Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS and other documentation systems.

What you will be doing:

You’ll be responsible for providing career technical training instruction to students in accordance with approved curricula. Provide students with basic direction, in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential Functions

Education And Experience Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license.
• Two (2) years experience; at least 1 of which shall be in the provision of a long-term facility. Must complete a course in teaching adults or shall have experience teaching adults.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
