Job summary

Kinexus Group is seeking a JMG Pathways Specialist to support youth across Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties. The role focuses on individualized coaching, career advising, and access to career-connected experiences to promote long-term self-sufficiency.

The position aligns in-school and out-of-school services, ensuring consistent support from middle school through graduation and beyond, with field work and local travel integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience coaching or case management with at-risk youth is preferred.
• Knowledge of youth development strategies and trauma-informed practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching and support to youth in Van Buren county.
• Guide youth in setting personal, academic, and career goals based on strengths and labor market information.
• Deliver JMG-aligned career readiness training, resume support, interview preparation, and life skills coaching.
• Collaborate with schools, employers, training providers, and community organizations to expand youth access to opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in workshops, events, and outreach.
