Job summary

New Horizons, a nonprofit serving adults with developmental disabilities, seeks a Career Pathway Navigator to support Youth Navigation Center programs. The role involves delivering services in schools, NH Campus, community sites, and home settings with a person-centered approach for young adults with disabilities.

The position offers a flexible 20–29 hour schedule, with pay at $21–$22 per hour and potential remote components depending on program needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with disabilities or special needs is preferred.
• Must have a valid California driver's license and be at least 21 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must speak English.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Pre-Employment Transition Services and coordinate student job placements.
• Plan and lead Camp CapAbility and Youth Leadership activities.
• Deliver Digital Literacy modules and discuss online safety and professional relationships.
• Assess transportation needs and create individualized training plans.
• Complete daily notes and maintain weekly schedules.
• Support and advocate for NH youth and families as part of the program.
