Job summary

The CareerRise Team at Larimer County Economic & Workforce Development (LCEWD) is hiring a Youth Career Specialist to join their skilled, collaborative team. The role focuses on direct case management for WIOA inCompass youth aged 16–24 in Southern Larimer County, with in-person and virtual service delivery.

You will conduct eligibility, provide counseling, remove employment barriers, and connect participants to education, training, and job opportunities, while collaborating with local partners

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a related field or similar duties are required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field or equivalent direct case management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one case management for youth in WIOA inCompass.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and data entry per standards.
• Support youth with career exploration, resumes, and job search strategies.
• Collaborate with community services to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with program outreach, events, and youth-focused activities.
• Deliver services in person and virtually, building strong relationships.
