Rite of Passage Brand's Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, FL is hiring a Youth Care Worker - Nights to provide 24-hour supervision, ensure youth safety, and support daily living activities within the program.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of direct care with at-risk youth (or 60 college hours), is 21 or older, and can pass background checks, a drug screen, and a child abuse registry search. Night shifts are 12 hours, rotating.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED, have one-year experience working with at-risk youth in a direct care position OR 60 hours of college education.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour security and supervision to ensure the safety of Youth.
• Monitor and document behaviors and participation during Sports and Recreation.
• Assist and mentor youth as they learn and develop within the program.
• Coordinate with staff to support daily living activities and program goals.

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Youth Care Worker - Nights at Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, Florida.

Tampa Bay Girls Academy - Secure is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk female youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling.

Pay : Starting at $19 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

What you will do: As a Youth Care Worker - Nights, you will provide 24-hour security and supervision to always ensure the safety of our Youth. You will monitor and document behaviors, monitor and join the Youth during Sports and Recreation time and assist and mentor the youth while they learn and develop within the program.
