Job summary

Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, AZ, is seeking a Youth Care Worker to supervise youth in a safe, structured environment and assist with daily routines, meals, hygiene and recreation.

You will mentor students, respond to challenging behaviors with de-escalation techniques, and work with a team to ensure consistent care. Requirements include 21+, HS diploma or GED, and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

• Conduct routine room checks and monitor student activities during shift.

Description

Join Our Dynamic Rite of Passage Team as a Youth Care Worker at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, AZ, a community rooted in a rich agricultural history and known for cultivating growth both in its fields and in the lives of Youth-by fostering positive change and empowerment.

Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by a Farm, Student Housing for 300 + youth, a Thrift Store, Cafe, Barbershop and Church open to the community incorporating life skills for our students. Along with a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, and athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room & more), Canyon State has it all!

$1,000 sign on bonus

What You'll Do

Minimum Qualifications

Schedule: Two Shifts

B Shift Days –Every other Wednesday 2pm - 9pm; Thursday to Saturday 8a-9p *
