Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated mentor supervisor at New Haven in Spanish Fork, UT to support adolescent programs. The role focuses on supervising Mentors, onboarding new staff, and leading weekly trainings to ensure high-quality care and safety within a trauma-informed setting.

You will collaborate with therapists and nurses, uphold policies, and maintain a calm, structured approach during crises.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Pass Utah State background check.
• Willing to commit for 8 months and obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before starting.
• Policy-savvy with knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Leads by example with teaching, motivation, and team-building skills.
• Works well with interdisciplinary teams including therapists and nurses.
• Calm under pressure with strong communication and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Purpose: supervise and support Mentors during shifts and foster a positive team culture.
• Strategic Delegation: assign responsibilities to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Talent Onboarding: partner with HR to hire and onboard new candidates.
• Thorough Orientation: guide new hires through a structured orientation.
• Continuous Development: facilitate weekly trainings and coaching.
• Performance Oversight: monitor staff performance with quarterly reviews.
• Accountability & Discipline: address issues with disciplinary protocols.
• Clear Communication: share shift updates during handoffs for continuity.
• Team Representation: advocate for your shift during interdisciplinary meetings.
• Safety Leadership: conduct quarterly safety drills and model best practices.
