Responsibilities

• Custody, security, and care of youth per DOJ policies and SOPs.
• Provide direct support, guidance, and structure for detained youth toward rehabilitation.
• Complete administrative paperwork and maintain records.
• Inspect and manage security equipment to safeguard youth.
• Maintain order through supervision and guide subordinate staff.
• Review youth information to identify special attention needs.
• Serve as Shift Supervisor in the Lieutenant's absence.
