Job summary

• Leadership Core Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Custody, security, and care of youth in DJJ facilities.
• Supervises and guides subordinate staff.
• Instructs and evaluates correctional security personnel.
• Support shift supervisor and possibly serve as Shift Supervisor in absence of Lieutenant.
• Complete administrative paperwork and maintain records.
