Qualifications

• Counseling clients to prevent crises and manage behavioral issues.
• Ability to handle emotionally challenging situations with adolescents.
• Must have visual and auditory acuity to maintain security of the program.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents and maintain a safe environment.
• Implement security procedures of the YMCA and program.
• Supervise residents during daily activities and nightly routines.
• Conduct intake and discharge procedures and organize belongings.
• Maintain logs, incident reports, and program paperwork.
• Attend scheduled meetings and trainings as directed.
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling when needed.
• Assist in meal prep, laundry, and chores; supervise supplies.
