Job summary

Old Colony YMCA in Fall River, MA is seeking a Full Time Lead Clinician for the 17-21 Group Home to provide direct services, comprehensive assessments, and family liaison.

The role includes intake, risk screening, treatment plan development, and delivering individual, group, and family therapy, while coordinating referrals and ensuring compliance with licensing standards; on-call coverage and collaboration with staff and partners are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Human Services field required.
• Licensure Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) required; LMHC or LICSW preferred.
• 1–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs.
• Excellent reading and writing skills for contract and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services and develop comprehensive assessments for each client.
• Coordinate with families, DCF social workers and outside agencies.
• Conduct intake, suicide screening, MAYSI and safety plans.
• Develop individual treatment plans including six domains.
• Provide intensive individual, group, and family therapy and monitor progress.
• Arrange referrals for psychological evaluation and medical services.
• Maintain communication with guardians and agencies.
• Provide rotating on-call clinical coverage and after-hours intake.
• Ensure proper youth belongings accounting.
• Interface with interns and community partners.
