Qualifications

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a supportive capacity.
• Strong interpersonal skills for mentoring and relationship building.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise youth at all times.
• Maintain detailed, timely and accurate documentation.
• Interact directly with youth and build positive relationships.
• Assist in planning and executing group activities.
• Positively reinforce children’s efforts and accomplishments.
• Familiarize with each child's history and needs.
• Complete maintenance request forms as needed.
• Ensure safekeeping of belongings.
• Serve meals according to menu or special needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide life skills education according to curriculum.
• Inform youth about transitional support services.
• Complete inventory of resident’s items.
• Meet all Safety Standards.
• Provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Complete 50 hours of annual training.
• Communicate effectively with incoming staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
