Job summary

Family & Children’s Services is seeking a Youth Care Coordinator to provide targeted support services and youth-centered Systems of Care (SOC). The SOC coordinates mental health and community services with the needs of children and families impacted by trauma, aiming to prevent out-of-home placements and wrap families with support and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Social Science preferred.
• Minimum of one year work with juveniles in the mental health field or related social service field.
• Specialized training and/or certification in mental health services or related field may be required (e.g., Juvenile Case Management Certification).
• Ability to see, hear and speak clearly to interact with staff, consumers, family members, administration and the community, in person and on the telephone.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain balance between health and job requirements.
• Must be able to climb stairs and access residences/facilities.
• Must possess a Driver's License and use personal automobile to travel; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Must be able to speak fluently English.
