Job summary

AMIkids in Bennettsville, SC seeks a Human Service Professional for a 3-month temporary assignment with potential to go permanent. You will evaluate youth needs, coordinate services, and manage care plans within the ICP, CPR, and transition processes.

The role requires a Master's in behavioral science, at least three years of relevant experience, and state licensure or supervised experience. The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, liaison duties with families and state agencies, and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral science required.
• Minimum of three years' experience, preferably with youth.
• State license or supervision by a licensed clinical professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate youth needs using an evidence-based assessment.
• Ensure timely delivery of services to meet ICP goals.
• Implement AMIkids Way in all interactions with students.
• Model respectful behavior to foster healthy relationships and trust.
• Liaise between parents, the Program, and State Agency.
• Schedule transition meetings and develop Transition Plan prior to release.
• Meet with staff to discuss youth cases and monitor progress.
• Develop and maintain Individual Care Plans for each youth.
• Develop, approve, and sign Weekly Summary Notes.
• Ensure weekly behavioral updates and goal progress.
• Formulate a Care Plan Review (CPR) as required.
• Ensure timely monthly reports to required parties.
• Be a positive role model and advisor to youth.
• Assist in placement preparation for graduating youth.
• Schedule regular counseling sessions and follow fidelity requirements.
• Attend meetings and youth legal proceedings as required.
• Prevent and intervene in youth incidents using trained methods.
• Administer first aid and CPR as trained.
• Lead or participate in care and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Administer youth medications as prescribed.
