Job summary

The City of Westminster is seeking an Aide - Youth Camp to assist with planning and implementing engaging, safe activities for participants in Youth and Teen programs. You will work with a camp leader and ensure supervision and safety during activities, including field trips and enrichment classes, while upholding equity and inclusion values.

Responsibilities include supporting crafts, dance, sports, games and science activities, administering basic first aid, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• First Aid, CPR and AED certification within 90 days of hire.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and execution of crafts, dance, sports, games, special events, science, language and field trips with participants.
• Provides a safe environment for participants and administers basic first aid.
• Helps to maintain equipment and supplies and maintains regular, punctual attendance.
• Attends staff meetings and provides additional assistance to special needs children.

Education

Must be at least 15 years old
