Job summary

Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is seeking a Full-time Direct Support Professional in Coconino County, AZ to help young people overcome challenges and realize their full potential.

The role involves one-on-one or small group support, implementing treatment plans, and promoting life and social skills. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant experience; valid AZ driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; a related bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• At least one year of experience working with children with behavioral and emotional challenges.
• Must be 21 years or older; valid Arizona driver’s license with good driving record; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with behavioral health challenges through mentoring, role-modeling, coaching and other individualized interventions.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to children and adolescents in the community.
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising clinician and provide progress updates.
• Plan and facilitate activities promoting emotional regulation, social skills and positive behaviors.
• Document progress notes, incident reports, and other required paperwork; adept at using a computer for documentation.
