Job summary

The Institute for Behavior Change - PA is looking for a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to implement behavioral health services for children with mental health disorders. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least two years of experience in behavioral health services or ABA, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include following treatment plans, encouraging social integration, and providing emotional support. Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing behavioral health services and/or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Ability to maintain supervision hours.
• Must meet any additional qualifications required by regulatory agencies or the employer.

Responsibilities

• Implement and follow the child’s individualized treatment plan.
• Encourage participation in structured, age‑appropriate activities.
• Promote positive interactions with peers and family members.
• Provide immediate, therapeutic responses to maladaptive behaviors.
• Maintain safety at all times.
