Job summary

Brightli is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician I in Springfield, Missouri, to provide direct care for clients in the Youth Residential program. You will supervise daily activities, monitor vital signs, ensure safety, and support treatment plans in a therapeutic environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least two years of responsible employment; human services experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Direct care and client monitoring experience preferred.
• Background checks, driving record, and abuse/neglect checks required.

Responsibilities

• Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients.
• Monitor vital signs and escalate to medical intervention when needed.
• Facilitate supervision checks per policy and safety plans.
• Assist clients with personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing).
• Document reported behaviors and concerns for treatment teams.
