Damar is seeking compassionate Behavior Support professionals for Indianapolis, IN (On-site), full-time roles. You will work directly with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, offering care, supervision, and behavioral support to help clients develop positive social skills.

Starting pay is $15.25 per hour, with higher pay for experience and education. Shift options include 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekend schedules.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 to work in our Children's Residential program; 18–21 for Direct Support Technician roles.
• Provide formal proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements.
• Be clear of any felony convictions or disqualifying criminal convictions.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Complete and pass background screening as required.

Responsabilités

• Respond to and manage crisis situations.
• Implement behavior management plans to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
• Promote development of daily living, self-help, and social skills.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Conduct and supervise recreational and life enrichment activities.
• Complete required documentation daily, in a professional manner.
