Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Comprehensive Clinical Assessor in North Carolina. The role includes conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for youth, both in-office and in community settings, and developing person-centered plans based on multi-system evaluations.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a social services field and a current NC clinical license (LCMHC/LCSW/LMFT/LCAS). Expect collaboration in a dynamic, mission-driven environment with travel and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline (required).
• Full clinical license in NC (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCAS).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive clinical assessments for youth entering or transitioning within the service continuum.
• Conducts face-to-face evaluations virtually or in-person (office, community, or home).
• Assesses mental health, development and substance-related conditions and symptoms.
• Gathers biological, psychological, familial, social, developmental, and environmental information to inform a person-centered plan.
• Issues written assessment summaries and initiates needed services.
• Coordinates care activities and attends weekly meetings for professional development.
• Documents accurately in an EMR and performs other duties as assigned.
