Job summary

By The Hand Club For Kids seeks a Behavior Specialist to lead direct care for a cohort of students, promoting behavioral, social-emotional, and spiritual development. You will implement individualized plans and provide coaching under the Director of SEL, collaborating with families and schools to support student success in urban settings.

You will use evidence-based strategies, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in supervision and professional development to strengthen behavior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field.
• 2+ years working with youth in educational, behavioral health, or youth development settings.
• RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain within timeframe.
• Experience using Google Workspace and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide direct care to a cohort of students to promote behavioral, social-emotional, and spiritual development.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision.
• Provide behavioral coaching and progress monitoring for students.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and staff to support student success.
• Maintain accurate behavioral documentation and incident reports.
• Deliver one-on-one and small-group coaching using evidence-based strategies.
